The Grand Tour Season 3 - Everything We Know (With Behind The Scenes Footage)
Who's excited already?
It has been just two months since Season 2 of The Grand Tour ended, but that's no reason not to get stuck in to the next season. Filming is well underway for Season 3, with the boys offering hints and teases about the new season's content on various social media platforms. Here's everything we know so far.
CLARKSON, A URUS, AN ELK AND BRA SERVICE AT ARJEPLOG
One segment we know about is Jeremy Clarkson testing the new Lamborghini super-SUV, the Urus, at the Arjeplog winter testing facility in northern Sweden.

CLARKSON'S DS BREAKDOWN PAPPED IN LONDON
We also know that Jezza will be testing a grey Citroën DS 7 Crossback registered in January 2018. It is the 2.0-litre diesel Ultra Prestige Performance Line model, and is registered in the UK. Given how the filming seemed to go, we aren't expecting a glowing review.
Could this spell disaster for the filming schedule?
ITALIAN CLASSICS IN SCOTLAND (WHICH CAPTAIN SLOW CAN'T DRIVE)
Featuring all three presenters this time, The Grand Tour also headed to Scotland - specifically, the Golspie Kart Track in Inverness - to test three Italian classic cars. Jeremy drove a red Alfa Romeo GTV6, Richard a Fiat X1/9 and James a Lancia Gamma Coupé. They also popped by the village of Scourie via the North Coast 500.
All the details you need right here!
Did you get it right?
One post from Clarkson asked for ideas for wheel-modding his Alfa (before it broke down). Could this be a cheap car modding challenge?
The whole crew later visited Inverness Castle:
DESTROYING THE INDESTRUCTIBLE
Shockingly, Clarkson claimed in a DriveTribe post last month that a Toyota Hilux had broken down. Might this feature in The Grand Tour?
CLARKSON WORKS HARD AS USUAL IN LONDON
Jezza also posted a short video on DriveTribe of him driving a yellow Ferrari 812 Superfast in Upper Addison Gardens, London W14. The video was captioned 'Today's work'.
JEREMY 'HAMMERING' AN ASTON
Another Clarkson post showed him at the wheel of an Aston Martin, with some speculating that it is the DB11 V8 and others plumping for the Vantage V8. Many people seemed more interested in his watch (more details on that here, if you're interested - credit to Stephen Ford).
That was five days ago - less than 24 hours ago, he posted another Aston photo, this time of a wheel, offering it up as proof that he had been 'hammering' it. Are these the same car? And what on Earth was he getting up to in it?
AUDI R8 IN BRIGHTON?
That rumour was quashed quickly.
We have also seen photos of Jeremy's recent drunken birthday party, which were definitely NOT leaked...
It looks like quite a party
The most interesting item is a mysterious grease (probably oil) mark above Jeremy's left eye, tarnishing his otherwise flawless face. Could this party feature on The Grand Tour? And how might the oil incident have come about?
INSIGHTS OF THE SOUND GUY
In Shifting Lanes's exclusive interview with Russell Edwards, The Grand Tour's Sound Supervisor, he told us that Season 3 will contain 'lots and lots of high-octane prankstering and in-depth car journalism', adding that 'some of the countries we are going to are mind-blowing, very adventurous'.
When they were presenting Top Gear at the BBC, the boys had certain limitations on what they could do because the BBC, as a national broadcaster, is banned from certain countries, includign Iran and Zimbabwe. Now that they have migrated to Amazon, these restrictions no longer apply, and Clarkson has said that 'Iran is somewhere [he'd] really like to go'. Might this happen in Season 3?
Here's our tell-all interview with the legend that is Russell Edwards!
WHO WANTS TO WIN THE MOST MONEY... IN THE WORLD?
In a break from filming for The Grand Tour, Clarkson will currently no doubt be preparing for his momentous return to British TV this Saturday as he takes the helm on iconic game show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?
When and how to watch
Don't forget, we also have a belated Season 2 special in Colombia to look forward to, which Clarkson says is 'coming out as a special treat in the middle of 2018'.
Plenty to look forward to!
