Place your bets on their next destination now...

A few weeks ago, we had the fantastic news that the next episode of our favourite show - The Grand Tour - was in fact finished and with the wonderful folks at Amazon awaiting release... sadly we're still yet to see it, but we do know a few things.

The most important piece of information that we have is that the latest episode sees the trio of intrepid adventurous explore the glorious island of Madagascar; expect plenty of complaining about bugs from Hammond on this one! Jeremy described the island of Madagascar as "one hell of a place and we think we made one hell of a story" which certainly sounds promising.

As if they know we're on the edge of our seats for more Grand Tour content, the trio met up again today - as confirmed by Jeremys post on Instagram - to plan their next post-lockdown adventure for all of us to enjoy. It also seems Jeremy has been very busy on his farm recently, with the announcement that his 'Diddly Squat' farm shop was now open, along with giving us regular snaps of his life on the farm.

Whilst no further details are currently available for us eager viewers, the next planned trip before the world was put into lockdown was to Northern Russia, so perhaps we will see a return to this planned escapade now that the world is opening up again?

With the shift away from the tent-based format seen in previous seasons, season 4 of The Grand Tour kicked off with the unusually-named 'Seamen' special, which saw the trio travelling across Vietnam by boat, but since then things have been awfully quiet - hopefully Amazon will release our next fix of Grand Tour entertainment soon.

  • As far as I can remember from some interview with Jeremy, they wanted to go to Siberia in the mid-season period, sort of early spring, eager to catch some particular weather conditions. So that thing is now either cancelled alltogether, or at least postponed till next year
