For the majority of viewers, the music in television shows tends to go in one ear, noticed for a second and then out the other. But for many of us Top Gear and Grand Tour fans, we spend hours watching and re-watching episodes. So with this in mind, I thought it would make a great weekly 'quiz' for some fun.

Well, I say its a quiz. Its only got one question.

LET ME EXPLAIN THE RULES...

One very obscure piece used in either Top Gear or The Grand Tour will be embedded into the article via YouTube.

Along with this, I will add a clue at the end of the article (usually a line spoken by one of the presenters or something visible in the clip) which will help determine which episode the song is from. Please bare in mind though, the clue will be vague so that it will be more of a challenge.

I will wait two days until posting the answer.

5 points can be awarded for each of the following: The series and episode/s the music is featured in, the scene in which it plays and which presenter/s are present/ focused on in the scene when the music is playing (for example if it is Hammond talking).

A bonus 10 points can be awarded for those who guess the car/s being featured!

YOU MUST NOT VIEW THE YOUTUBE COMMENTS AS THEY MAY REVEAL THE ANSWER!

I will try and keep up with the answers in the comments once the answer has been revealed but you can also play along from home with friends!

THIS WEEKS TRACK:

This weeks track is from one of the most famous Wild West films, 'For A Few Dollars More' and is called 'La Resa Dei Conti'. A very apt song for the film it came from and the film it was shown in.

THIS WEEKS CLUE IS: 01274 854 600

This weeks clue is a bit more difficult as personally I think the song is quite recognisable for the hardcore fans of Top Gear and The Grand Tour. So this clue might take a bit of searching for seen as the clue from the last one, a few people knew the line off the back of their head...

  • Series 3, Episode 5, testing the Hilux to destruction. I think it's used for the building demolition scene, and the fire scene. The phone number is for the demolition company who blow up the building the car sits on. The whole piece uses a variety of pieces by Sergio Leone, loads of western movie scores crop up in this. Both James and Jeremy are presenting this VT, so are on screen or doing voice-over when the track is used.
