That particular edition was the year of the Toyota Gazoo Racing and Aston Martin Racing teams

If you are a real motoring petrolhead or just an amateur, you certainly watched the 88th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. As you knew, that edition was special and is now considered as one of the unforgottable races in the World Endurance Championship without crowd. Apart from that particular atmosphere, the race was a real success for the Toyota Gazoo Racing team and the British victorious teams, which lead the 1st position in the other groups. God bless the United Kingdom for that triple domination.

Apart from those final results, the 88th edition has opened a real competition between the Toyota Gazoo Racing team and the Rebellion Racing team, a newly Swiss competitor. In a nutshell, that was the occasion to watch how the competition was tense until the last hour, and how the race could be unexpected and surprising until the end.

That semi-final race also points out on the last moments of the TS050 hybrid car before the launch of the hypercar and the arrival of two new French competitors, Peugeot Sport and Alpine, in this new group. The next edition should promise more competitive moments.
