THE KING OF KINGS

It's been 25 years since McLaren gave us the legendary F1. Powered by a 6.1-L V12 BMW M motor, mated to a 6-speed manual, it produced 468kw/651nm, and was capable of 0-100kph in around 3.2 seconds. It also held the record of the world's fastest production car until beaten in 2005 by the Koenigsegg CCR. In fact, every car that has surpassed its top speed record has needed forced induction to do so. We are unlikely to ever see a car as great as the McLaren F1, and to honor the legend - and educate those that know little about this icon - here is its record breaking top speed run. #TunedAutomotive #SomeShitAboutCars
