The Lamborghini Urus looks like a little brute, doesn’t it? Except, it really isn't little. It is wider and longer than a Range Rover.
Let’s start with the name, Urus. It has always bugged me. Apparently, it comes from the name of cattle which inhabited Asia, Europe, and North Africa. They are noted as being the ancestor of domestic cattle… and they weren’t small either.
Back to the car then. The Lamborghini Urus has a 4.0 L twin-turbo V8 engine which produces 641 bhp and a little over 620 lb. ft of torque. And most of that torque is available from as little as 2000 rpm. All this is good news for its off-road ability. Predictably, it has all-wheel drive with a 60-40 torque split. Rear-wheel-steering and torque vectoring are also a feature in the Italian off-roader.
