The Lancia Delta Integrale Is Reborn!
Automobili Amos creates a modern reimagining of the classic car!
By Phil Bradley
Italian Coachbuilder, Automobili Amos has created a modern Lancia Delta Integrale, making it's debut at the Grand Basel auto show this week, and boy is it something else!
The vehicle uses the original Delta chassis as a base, but the body panels are made of aluminium and carbon fibre, all contributing to a total weight of just 1250KG, which is 90KG less than the original car. Under the bonnet has been re-engineered too, with a rebuilt differential, a reinforced transmission along with a new water cooling system, custom built intake and exhaust system. This results in a power output of 330BHP, more than most hot hatches on the market today!
Inside the Integrale, the interior has been fitted with Recaro front seats, that retain the looks of the originals. The steering wheel has been custom made, and has integrated controls, and carbon fibre wraps the transmission tunnel. Automobili Amos will create just 20 of these restomod Lancia Delta Futurista models, each costing approximately £270,000!
