We were at Triumph's press launch event yesterday for the new Bobber and Bonneville Speedmaster models.

They also unveiled the factory tour experience and the Moto2 engine and test bed for 2018.

Back to the Bobber though, which Triumph says is its fastest selling motorcycle in their history!

Updates from last year's model include fatter forks and front tyre (with smaller wheel) as well as Brembo calipers up front and lots of blacked out parts all over.

The final finish comes in either matt or jet black - the final price and arrival date are to be confirmed.

  • That’s one sexy bike

  • I like the look of it - but buying ready-made feels wrong, especially if all the marketing is about being distinctive and unique. Sell the standard bike with an angle grinder, compressor and spray-gun, and arc welding kit. The whole point of a simple custom like a bobber is to get your hands dirty, and originally, bobbers were ‘tree-shade customs’. It’s not like it’s terribly difficult to do, or any of the oily bits need mucking about with. (Though a DIY performance cam , sprocket and clutch kit would be cool.)

  • Standard Bobber is still available, the Black is an additional model.

  • Very refreshing after so many cruisers being covered in chrome bling
