Stunning. It's the most suitable word that comes to mind when describing the upcoming 2018 Audi Q8 (albeit in Concept form). That said, Audi has confirmed this concept is very much a "near-production" model. When it goes on sale in 2018, the Audi Q8 will sit close to the top of the luxury SUV tree. In fact, it will even usurp the Audi A8 saloon as Audi’s flagship. Like the new A8, the Q8 will feature Audi’s next generation of interior design, and it will come loaded with technology and infotainment systems. The Q8 takes up roughly the same amount of road space as the current Audi Q7 – it’s over five metres long, with three metres between its front and rear wheels. It sits 40mm lower, though, and is distinguished by its lower roofline and sharply angled rear end. It will rival the BMW X6, Porsche Panamera, Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe, the future Range Rover Sport Coupe and the Lamborghini Urus with which it shares its platform. Expect Audi to unveil the production-spec Q8 globally early next year, with Audi South Africa planning to introduce the Q8 into SA towards the end of 2018. #TunedAutomotive #SomeShitAboutCars
