The Nissan Navara will definitely leave Europe at the end of the year

It will not be replaced

1w ago

It is now official, the Nissan Navara will leave Europe for good. After five years of loyal service, the fourth generation of the Japanese pickup truck will not be replaced on the Old Continent. A fifth iteration of the vehicle is already on the horizon but will not reach Europe.

The production of the pickup truck will stop definitively in December 2021 at Nissan's Barcelona plant, which produces the models destined for Europe. The remaining units will continue to be sold until 2022. By then, Nissan will probably have unveiled the series production version of the fifth generation Navara.

Faced with the increasingly strict environmental regulations imposed by Europe, the Japanese manufacturer has preferred to throw in the towel rather than persist in a segment that is losing ground in the country. Other markets will therefore be entitled to the next generation of the Navara, while Europeans will unfortunately be deprived of it.
