While I was in Las Vegas attending SEMA last week, I wrote a post featuring all of the crazy muscle cars, lifted Jeeps, and giant trucks which embodied the main focal point of the show. Although many of you enjoyed seeing these custom heavy duty vehicles, a lot of you wanted to see cars that were less "monstrous." Of course I listen to you guys, and don't worry, I documented all the supercars I could find. So without further ado, here are the top 20 best supercars I could find at SEMA. Oh, and they're not in any particular order FYI.
LET'S GET STARTED!
CAMO FERRARI 458 ITALIA
No, I'm not going to make any, "I can't see this one" jokes. I like the mirrors, that's about it.
FERRARI 488 GTE
It seems like it's giving everyone the silent treatment for taking it away from the track. For a race car, it looks really subtle asides from the decals and front splitter that give it away.
PAGANI HUAYRA BC
Perfection in a car. 'Nuff said.
FERRARI 488 GTB
This happens to be one of the few lift systems approved by Ferrari and they made sure to flaunt it 😛
WIDE BODY LAMBORGHINI HURACAN
I love the light blue lining on this Huracan. It's a nice contrast to the matte grey. I feel like this colour combo would also look good on the new Vantage.
MERCEDES-BENZ AMG GT R
This car is not as flashy as the others, but still makes the list in my opinion. It's a subtle supercar 😊.
Aquaman's car. Can't get more flashy than this.
MCLAREN 570s Spider
The perfect entry level supercar for McLaren that provides performance and handling similar to a car worth twice as much.
AUDI R8 V10 (McLaren 570s in the background)
For those of you who read my other posts, you know that the R8 is one of my absolute favourite cars. Obviously, I had to include one in this list but this awful wrap does not do it justice. Someone send better R8s next year! The roof rack makes it look more impressive though.
A ZR1 peeking out from the SEMA wilderness. Thought to be the last front engine Corvette as the (not so) secret mid-engine Corvette is currently under development and is expected in the next few years.
KOENIGSEGG AGERA RS
This exact car holds the world record for highest top speed for a production vehicle at 277.87 mph! Even more astonishing, is its ability to go from 0-400-0 km/h in 36.44 seconds.
Godzilla came to SEMA in green.
LAMBORGHINI CENTENARIO ROADSTER
This car is the first Centenario Roadster ever produced out of only 20 in the world. It's worth around $2 million Euros.
First production car with over 1000HP which helped usher in the rebirth of the Bugatti brand. And most importantly, these cars are always endorsed by your favourite celebrity.
A DIRTY ASTON MARTIN VANTAGE
It was the only Aston Martin there (that we saw) and it was dirty so the pictures aren't too great. They were consistently spraying it for a demonstration. Sucks that there weren't any more Astons.
FERRARI 488 GTB w. A BODYKIT
The rear spoiler at the back almost made me think it was a 488 Pista for a second. It's hard to believe that this car with GPS, leather seats, and all sorts of luxurious amenities is faster around Ferrari's Fiorano test track than the legendary F40. Interesting to see how far we've come.
LAMBORGHINI HURACAN WIDEBODY SUPER TROFEO
This was at the BBS booth and featured the BBS FI-R wheels (as shown in the third picture).
FERRARI 488 GTB
Finally, something blue! 💙 Half the people there were just taking photos of the badges. They would walk up super close and just take pictures of the Ferrari badge as if they had never seen one before and then completely disregard the car. I have so many questions for them...
SUPER SUV LAMBORGHINI URUS
Am I biased for thinking the Urus is a supercar? Maybe. But considering the show was 70% trucks and 20% mustangs, you will take what you can get thank you very much. Besides, the Urus is the most powerful SUV on the market with 641HP. I don't know about you but if I ever become rich, I'm getting myself one of these to drive around with my future dogs.
FORD GT CARBON SERIES
Ford unveiled its new Ford GT carbon series this year. They added a lot more carbon. Who would have thought?
LAMBORGHINI HURACAN SUPER TROFEO EVO (& FERRARI 488 SPIDER)
For our grand finale, we have the beautifully aggressive Huracan Super Trofeo Evo (and another 488, but enough about them). It's got a badass V10, sounds ridiculous with the race car tune and exhaust, and it looks bonkers - everything a Lamborghini should be.
And that's it! What did you think of my supercar list? Do you prefer supercars or giant monster trucks? Let me know in the comments!
