How the mechanical 4WS works on the 3rd generation Prelude. For smaller steering inputs, such as cornering, all four wheels turn the same way, pulling the whole car into the corner. This reduces oversteer and improves turn in response as the rear wheels are not waiting for an instruction from the front. At higher steering angles, such as parking, the rear wheels swap direction, tightening the turning circle to improve low speed maneuverability.
