The perfect woman!
Lady biker drops everything to travel the world on her honda
Meet Nikki Misurelli. If you've been on Facebook this week you may have already heard about her story. The 30-year-old Alaskan decided to do something we all dream about at some point, but rarely have the balls to follow through with.
“He said he wanted to motorcycle all the way from Alaska down to Argentina,” Misurelli told The Independent when speaking about her ex-boyfriend.
“I asked him if I could go with him but he said no, that it was a ‘guys only’ trip. ‘It’s too dangerous and intense,’ he said. ‘You probably couldn’t handle it’.
“So we broke up and I went by myself.”
Since her trip from Alaska to Panama, she's also brought her CBR600RR over to Europe - covering 5,500 miles in the process. The little Honda has also ticked off trips to Central America and Africa and Nikki makes all of these trips solo.
Most of you will be asking how she affords this sort of lifestyle.
Misurelli does see herself as an ambassador – “I want women around the world to get out there and get travelling,” she says – but ultimately, roadtripping is something she needs for herself. Even if it’s not the easiest lifestyle. “If you want something enough, you can make it work,” she says. “That’s how I feel about travel.”
