If you asked, 100 people, "What is the best sports car, ever to be made?" They would reply "The Porsche 911, obviously." There has been many versions of the 911, such as the Turbo, the Carrera models, the Targa, etc. Now the latest version, of the 911, is the GT2 RS.

it is the most track focused, road going 911 to date.

the ENGINE

The engine, is a 3.8 flat six, that is used in the current 911 Turbo. It produces 690 hp, which is 325hp more than, the standard 911 Carrera, and 79hp more, than the outgoing GT2 RS. Its also a lot for a small-ish, car. It will go from 0-62 in 2.8 seconds, which is 0.1 second less, than the 911 Turbo S

The aero

It has some more "aero parts" to keep the rear of the car, pushed on to the road, such as a bigger rear wing, and more carbon fibre parts.

The interior

The interior is actually quite nice. You get a fancy, screen in the middle of the dashboard, which you can record, lap-times on. You can get a GT2 RS with lightweight bucket seats, which will be better for track days.

The weight

It weighs 1470 kilograms which is pretty light for a car, with this much power.

THE PRICE

It starts from £207,506, which is pretty expensive. You can get one with the Weissach package, which costs ££21,042.

CONCLUSION

Overall, i think the GT2 RS, is shaping up to be an excellent car. Hopefully it will be.

I give it a 5 out of 5.
