The Remedy for the AMG GT R Running-In Struggle! | VLOG

Where should I take my AMG GT R for its first shakedown run after its 'running in' process is completed?

3y ago

My new AMG GT R has a 1,000 mile 'running in' process during which you can only drive it up to 4,500rpm... However, we can still go full chat in a GT R showdown in Forza 7! Microsoft provided me with the brand new Xbox One X to have a go and that seemed like the perfect opportunity to get it out and have a play in today's vlog.

Obviously I'm doing my best to put the miles on the car, and in only 2 days of owning it while I've been in the UK so far we're already at just under 300 miles on the clock. The countdown is on and you can bet when we're there it's going to start to be pushed! BenzeneBen had the great idea to take it to Dunsfold park, the home of Top Gear at some point, what do you think about that?

In any case, it's always great to hear feedback from you guys, what do you think of gaming content? Do you guys play Forza or any of the rivals yourselves?

And then, we had to touch on this epic achievement by Koenigsegg, setting a new world record top speed with the Agera RS by reaching a mind blowing 277.9mph; breaking the record by 10mph. Such an incredible feat and a huge congratulations to Christian von Koenigsegg and his team on setting the records now.

  • You have to finish at Brooklands and have a play on that tight circuit. Did it in my SLS and it was superb! There is an awesome outside hot tub in the Brooklands Hotel that overlooks the circuit too if youre staying over....

  • I would plan a road trip greater than 100 miles that puts you at a driving destination just as you hit 1000 miles on the odometer.

  • Spa Francorchamps would be a great idea
