The short story of my dad's KIA sportage ownership

So it all started january 2019 my dad left his old job because of back issues and he needed a job he decided he was gene work for Uber and he needed a new car he was at hise freind's house and he told my dad that he knows the owner of the local KIA deelership KIA Vilvoorde maybe the manager of that deelership could get him a deal on a car. The day he walked in the deeleship whith his freind the manger directed him to the KIA Sportage and my dad liked the car he decide to buy one and since he didn't need much he bougth the base trim it was grayy it had a 135 horspower petrol/gas engine whith a 6 speed manual and it was front wheel drive.

The car arrived a the dealler but my dad didn't want to pay the first regristation taxe and the car went on a rolling road to do 3000km which is totally legal the car did that for 3 months beacause the car was driven slowely and they had other things to dow.
After the rolling road
My dad took the car back home and it just stayed parked for a feew months because the paper work tackes a long time and after he wase done Uber told him there was a 3 year waiting list which was crazy and my dad decide to go too the rival he went to Heetche same thing ase Uber it's just a french company. And finally started to work in june
If you are wondering why the car sat alot its because Uber veichels have special plates soo the police can tell whats what and the car canont be driven by anyone else but the owner.

The first crash
It happend in October he was stopped at the red ligths and a mitsubishi outlander rear ended him there was no major damage the kia needed a rear bumer and the trunck/boot the passenger was abel to tacke another taxi home. The car went to the KIA Vilvoorde dealearship and the owner seed that they dont do body work so he was sent to an associated garage Mazda Dwcc Strombeek to be fixed but the dealer wase to occupied whith other cars so the car was sent to an independent garage and the car was there for a month and a half.

The second crash
It happend january 2020 its was 6am the golf in front of him stopped at the read ligth he stopped behind it and a truck that was behind theme didn't stop and it sent the suv in too the golf. The golf had 4 passengers 2 adults and 2 baby's an ambulance needed to take theme to the hosptall to make shure they where okay my dad didn't have passengers at the time. And the truck driver was demmed at fault for the crash and his insurance payed for the damges.
After the crash
The KIA was totaled the babys where fine aswell as the other passengers.
Now my dad needed a new car he went to his deealer freind and he told him that he had a used KIA Optima SW at the KIA Meise dealership and my dad bought it
Its a 2018 1.7 crdi first edition full option car whith a 1.6 diesel 7speed dct.

when the car was ready covid hit and he coudnt work much so in august he stoped took the plates of the car gave it to my mother and now shee drives it. Now he is looking for a van because he found a job in construction work.
