The spectacular Renault Clio E1 Turbo with Mégane RS Engine

One of the most spectacular looking Monsters that debuted last Season was Matej Grudnik´s Renault Clio E1 Turbo, a very special project now finally racing after almost 3 years of development. Still very much in testing, it is a bespoke widebodied Renault Clio powered by the 2.0L Turbo engine from the Mégane RS. Here still in Front Wheel Drive form and with around 400Hp, it is a Monster we´ll see evolving in the coming months, where over 500Hp, AWD transmission and much less weight are the goals.

However, here we can watch it attacking Gorjanci HillClimb on its debut, and it was straight away quite fast, placing among the 10 Fastest Monsters, all while still not using most of its potential in order to ensure reliability wasn´t affected at such an early age of the project. Just turning up the boost near the end of the event, it mostly used only 75% of its power, but still, it really was very effective. One to keep an eye this Season for sure...
