The Story of Supercars
This is the story of how supercars all happened.
It all started with Ferruccio Lamborghini. He made a lot of tractors in the early days of Lamborghini. So, he thought about if he could create something different, something that would be special and extraordinary. So he went ahead and created the world's first supercar. The Lamborghini Miura.
Now that other people have seen his creation, the Lamborghini Miura was famous, and many other people wanted to make a better car than Ferruccio did. Over the years, people have been making many beautiful cars, some were famous and some were not. Many people eventually made their own brands and started making retail versions of their cars. That is how we come to know brands like Bugatti, Lamborghini, and Ferrari today.
So, the 1900s were supercars' glory years. Where they were known around the world. But eventually, the love for supercars faded out in the 1990s because of the recent JDM (Japan Domesticated Market) cars that were being made. For example, the Mazda RX-7? That was one of the most, if not the most popular JDM cars to ever be known.
But, when we entered the 2000s, JDM cars were not being produced recently, so supercars took the lead once again. That fame has been living up for 21 years. This is most likely why a lot of people want cars like Ferarris, Bugattis, Porsches, Lamborghinis. Those are the most iconic and popular supercar brands ever created.
