If you're into your cars, it's only fair that you get a chance to explore your passion, no matter what life throws at you.

Nelson Samsel is a paralyzed US war veteran who now spends his days in a motorized wheelchair. To give him an experience to remember, DriveTribe teamed up with Shell, Penske and Paralyzed Veterans to send Nelson and his wife around an IndyCar track with none other than Hélio Castroneves and Simon Pagenaud.

As well as being shown around the pits, Nelson received an awesome gift at the end of the day, one that will hopefully make his life easier and that will go a small way towards thanking him for his service to his country. Check out the video below to meet this absolute legend of a car guy.

  • It's things like that make me think you know I don't care if my fuel is expensive (I only ever use shell v power) if it does actually go towards things like this. Well done shell an example a few more big companies should follow!
