There's hardly anything that doesn't make the news when it comes to Tesla. Rumours and teasers have it that Tesla is all set to debut their Cybertruck in less than 48 hours.

Fact: The Tesla Cybertruck is the most searched truck on the internet

Amidst all this hype, no one really knows what the pickup really looks like.

Therefore, the internet is full of concepts:

Elon Musk has done his bit of adding to the hype by stating that the pickup will be his company's most radical release yet. The boss said,"You’ve got to be able to get a really great truck for $49,000 or less. It’s gotta have incredible functionality from a load-carrying standpoint, look amazing. The goal is to be a better truck than the F-150, in terms of truck-like functionality. And be a better sports car than a [Porsche 911].”

Here are 4 reasons why the Cybertruck will be the epic-est pickup ever!

(I) It will be cheaper than its competitors

If I have decoded Musk's business lingo correctly, the Tesla pickup will start at prices less than $50,000. The closest electric rival i.e. Rivian-r1t has announced its prices at $70,000.

(II) It can tow 300,000 pounds!

Wait what?! Yep no typos there. If Musk's tweet hold any credibility, the Cybertruck will be able tow 300,000 pounds. (Anyone else sense military operations here?)

A top of the range Ford F150 with a 5.0L V8 can tow a measly 11,600 pounds.

(III) It drives like a Porsche

The boss claims that their pickup truck will have the same handling capability of a Porsche 911. 0-60 mph is quoted at under 3 seconds making it the fastest truck ever produced.

In comparison, the Ford F-150 does 0-60 mph in 5.1 seconds. A fairer comparison here would be the Rivian-r1t which takes 4 seconds to get to 60mph from nought.

(IV) Expect the cybertruck to be tech-packed

Tesla cars are the most technologically advanced robots on the road today. The single large console on the dashboard is used to control everything from the celebratory dance to playing video games.

I Can't wait!

It's been an action packed November already for petrolheads as well as err.. electroheads with McLaren, Ferrari and Ford launching the Elva, the Roma and the Mach-E respectively. Another heavyweight is waiting in the wings and is scheduled to launch their first ever SUV tomorrow.

With Cybertruck's launch expected on 21st November in California near the SpaceX rocket factory, the one thing that is certain is that it will make headlines everywhere one way or another.

How excited are you about the Cybertruck? Would you consider buying one? Talk to me in the comments!
