The Third generation C/K (1973-1991) is arguably the most influential truck. This was the first GM truck to get a crew cab and a DRW option for the public. It was also the first time the Silverado nameplate was used. And to top it off, it was the first American fullSize truck to get a Diesel engine from the factory: the 5.7L Oldsmobile Diesel V8.

  • That’s a nice looking truck! I much prefer the “crew cab” variants due to their functionality! Speed isn’t an issue for me I’m more interested in usability. It should do what it says on the tin! 👍🏻

    • Same. But you can’t deny the the reg cab long box aka the stereotype for a pickup truck doesn’t look bad.

  • I’ll admit I’m not a truck guy, but I can appreciate a good one none the less.

I do particularly like this shape, just think it’s good looking and actually looks tough, but without trying too hard.

I would like to have a go in one of these
