RM Sotheby's celebrated 70 years of Porsche last weekend with the company's single-marque Porsche 70th Anniversary Auction at the Porsche Experience Centre Atlanta (PECATL). The successful auction achieved $25.8 million in total sales for RM Sotheby's with over 90% of lots sold. A great result, and once again reflecting the importance of Porsche sportscars to collectors.

In total 63 Porsche models were offered for sale. The highest price was a 959 Paris-Dakar which achieved a mind-blowing $5,945,000.

  • I read in a news article that the Project Gold was sold in 10 minutes. I can understand why.
