The Trip To Tassie in The X TrailWayne Briggs posted in World Rallies4y ago980 Award- Aboard the Spirit of Tasmania to cross Bass Strait. Left home from Morayfield which is jut north of Brisbane Queensland. Drove the inland highway to Melbourne to catch the boat across the Bass Strait. There are many good long distance trips to do. Great driving roads in Tasmania apparently!
I have a great respect for the X-Trail. I saw one tackle a rough track (with a reasonable pool in it) in rural NSW and it handled it very well.
Yes they do pretty good on a bit of rough. Did a reasonably deep rutted forest track at night without any trouble.
