The XK-R's blend of elegant grand touring comfort and sports car spice is just about perfect while still wrapped in a sleek and sexy shell, offering a uniquely British experience.
However, the minute that the sports mode is engaged, everything tucks up just a bit. You feel the car shift into the form it most wants to be in, the XK-R wants to rip and tear at the asphalt and make a lot of noise while doing it. You'd never know it had this side if you were to see it parked on the street.

Definitely under-appreciated. It's a car that I wouldn't generally have catch my eye while driving downtown on any given day. However, you take a moment to appreciate it and you'll see there's a lot there to admire. Everything you think at that moment is shatter the instant you get in and start making some noise. It drops the suit, puts on the tool belt, and gets to work no doubt.
Everyone got all worked up about the F-type's looks but I think the XK-R is almost as pretty. Under-appreciated?
