There are around 5000 new C7 Corvettes still sitting on dealer lots
With the new C8 Corvette on its way this will be your last chance to get a great deal on the previous-generation Corvette
Earlier this year in July Chevrolet took the covers off their newest car, the mid-engined C8 corvette. It will be the first mid-engined corvette ever made, and has simply grended any prospective C7 Corvette buyers.
Because who in their right mind would go out and buy a brand-new C7 Corvette, while knowing full well that the new one is only a few months away. However, because of this there are quite a few stragglers left on dealer lots. And when I say a few, I mean roughly 5,000 unsold brand-new C7 Corvettes.
Now, this presents a wonderful opportunity, because while buying a C7 at full price is sheer lunacy, there may be a better way. Dealers are desperate to get the old C7 off of their lots. Simply because once the new car comes, the C7 will become unsellable.
The last front-engined Corvette ever made
However, because of that dealers are willing to discount these cars heavily. Many dealers are offering these cars for as much as $10,000-$15,000 below their list price. However, if you were planning on speccing out your dream C7, you can't. The last front-engined Corvette ever made, a C7 Z06 painted in black, was built on Friday, November 22nd. You'll just have to hope that there's one that fits your liking sitting on a Chevy lot somewhere.
