There are few greater things than a Pagani Huayra R flying down an empty runway

That V12 sound is unbeatable

We all know how good the Pagani Huayra R's Mercedes-AMG engine sounds. In fact, it might just be the best sounding car in existence. But to really get the full benefit, you need to take it to an empty runway and this is exactly what someone did.

In this short YouTube clip, you can see a black Pagani Huayra R launching its way down an empty Croatian runway and it sounds absolutely incredible. Sure, something like the Rimac Nevera could do it much quicker, but you wouldn't get a good sound, would you?

The Huayra R is powered by a Mercedes-derived 6.0-litre naturally aspirated V12 that produces 838hp and 553 lb-ft of torque which drives the rear wheels through a six-speed sequential gearbox. This amazing engine apparently took two years to develop and can rev all the way up to 9000rpm.
