There are times liveries just don't suit particular engines. That cannot be said about Caledonian Railway (CR) No.419.

Build in the early 1900s, this Victorian loco looks her best in the lined-out, deep blue of the CR. She is currently in the final stages of a major overhaul lasting 8years and will return to stem on the Bo'ness and Kinneil Railway for the 2018 season.

  • Being a younger generation steam enthusiast I have seen only a few engines in preservation that are in blue, including the Caledonian's and they look great. I love all of the various liveries and colours of industrial steam locomotives as well.
