There's a load of old Alfas in a field in Texas and they could be yours
Jeremy Clarkson has always insisted that you're not a proper petrolhead until you've owned an Alfa Romeo. That's something I haven't yet managed, but if I lived in Texas now could be the time. That's because a very interesting Facebook Marketplace advert has popped up and it's something of a treasure trove for fans of these Italian stallions!

Although only seven cars remain, the pictures from this listing show an absolute find. Unfortunately, most of these cars have no engines (one less thing to go wrong, eh?) and you'd be hard pressed to get any good parts out of them. All of which means, unfortunately, the best place for these cars may be the local scrap metal dealer. Or maybe some kind of avant-garde automotive artwork. Certainly, you'd be incredibly hard-pressed to get any of them to run at all.
Well, you've got to put your plant pots somewhere... Photo: Facebook Marketplace
Despite this, it's still pretty amazing to see a collection of classic Alfa Romeos like this in the one place, even if they are slowly returning to mother earth. Clearly the person who managed to acquire them was some kind of enthusiast of the brand and thus a hero in our book.
Whilst it may not be able to clean all the decades of gunk, rust and dirt off these old Alfas, if your own classic has some rust issues that you need to get rid of this Jenolite Rust Convertor should do the trick just fine! It'll convert an old rusted surface into something that's ready to paint over after three hours and it'll keep it protected from water vapour, air, salt and everything else that makes tin worm happen.
