There's a new Nissan GT-R Nismo in town

With a fantastic clear-coated bonnet

The latest addition to the Nissan GT-R line-up bears the iconic NISMO nameplate and comes in with Stealth Grey paint, 20-inch forged aluminium wheels and a clear-coated carbon fibre bonnet, made from naked carbon fibre, clear-coated to expose the carbon fibre weave and, for the first time ever, Nissan used their new logo for the boot lid and the centre caps.

The engine is a NISMO-tuned version of Nissan's VR38DETT 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6, producing 600 hp and 481 lb-ft of torque. Production is limited but Nissan hasn't actually said how many they're going to build or how much it's gonna cost.

  • Definitely one car I would have in my collection...if I had a collection.

  • Anyone think the torque figure is fairly low?

  • Massve props to Nissan for keeping the GTR competitive for so long. It's done us proud.

  • That’s nice. I’m liking the 400z a little bit more as last best petrol car.

If Nissan is smart — they’ll give us a hydrogen hybrid version of the GTR.

Otherwise - might as well as buy an Aspark Owl to drive to the future.
