Yesterday the world received some terrible news about the death of the Queen of the Nürburgring, Sabine Schmitz. She sadly passed away aged 51 due to a long lasting struggle with cancer.
For those of you who aren't aware, Sabine was best known for knowing the Nürburgring like the back of her hand, and in honour of her, there's a petition going around in order to name a corner of the track after her.
At the time of writing, over 11,000 people have signed the petition and just 15,000 signatures are needed for it to be considered. So in honour of one of the most influential female drivers in history, will you sign the petition to name one of the 170 corners of the Nordschleife after her?
