These Canadian motorists are purposely blocking Tesla Superchargers
Looks like EVs aren't popular in Canada...
As the rise of Tesla continues, so does the building of its superchargers which are popping up everywhere around the world. The country with the most is the United States and it looks like many of them have made their way up to Canada where they aren't so appreciated.
When EV chargers first started appearing a few years ago, it was a common trend to see some people needlessly blocking them with combustion-engined cars, but now it's happened again and it's annoying many people and rightly so.
These blockages have caused many Tesla owners to wait well over 30 minutes just to get the chance to charge their cars which isn't acceptable.
However, it appears many of these incidents were 'an accident' as this charging station is located next to a restaurant and other businesses and it appears these drivers didn't fully realise their parking spots were actually charging stations which is still a pretty poor excuse, especially when they're clearly well-lit.
Local police can implement fines to those who park in charging parking bays, which you would have thought would stop people from parking there, but it doesn't look like it.
