These Chevrolet ad parodies say what most were really thinking
Have you seen one of Chevrolet's recent "Real People" adverts? If not, the premise is basic: Chevrolet interviews members of the general public and records their responses.
Watch the original Malibu one below, as a starting point.
"It is amazing to hear what people had to say about the Malibu when there were no Chevrolet Badges or Name Tags," states the description.
"These are all real people and not paid actors," it adds.
YouTuber Zebra Corner found himself somewhat annoyed by the overly positive adverts, so fired up the editing suite, set up a greenscreen and went to work – and this series of parodies was the result.
There's the odd bit of rude language, so stick in your headphones and enjoy...
"A BMW? Really? C'mon guys, let's try and be a little more subtle."
"I have no idea what initial quality means."
"We've all seen a car before."
As a kicker, these videos are now more highly ranked in YouTube than Chevrolet's series – hopefully saving a few errant viewers from the originals...
