Formula One has boomed in popularity in recent years due to a number of things. Whether you love the sport due to Drive to Survive or if you've been watching since Schumacher drove his first race in Belgium '91, F1 relies on dedicated fans like you.

Some creative people even make videos on the sport, giving their take on hot topics or just making memes with varying levels of success. YouTuber Sim Dane has taken his love for the sport even further by creating parodies of popular songs and putting an F1-themed spin on it.

These songs range from 80s classics like "Take On Me" by A-ha all the way to contemporary songs like "Blinding Lights" by The Weekend. So attracting a demographic from all decades, Sim Dane has created a place where F1 fans can reflect on certain races, moments or even former drivers.

It's very common for sports fans to become immersed in fanbases and cause conflict but what Sim Dane does with his videos is unite the F1 community with his funny, and really well composed, parody tracks.

The emotion of the song fits the topic of the parody really well. Following Sebastian Vettel's retirement from Ferrari, Sim Dane was quick to react with "Seb Vettel - Some Driver That You Used to Know + Sebsterday [feat S🅱️inotto]."

The vocals are all sung by Sim Dane himself and sometimes uses different accents to act like certain drivers are singing on the same track.

His most popular video is '"Smooth Criminal - F1 Remix", which has garnered over a million views. Impressive stuff for a channel that has not even reached 100k subscribers. Sim Dane is definitely one of the best YouTube-based content creators right now as shown by his fresh content and clear talent.

With the rate that he's going, you're likely to see a new Sim Dane video weekly, giving you content even between race weekends, which is an added bonus. He's just released a new video inspired by Lady Gaga's "Poker Face," focused around Alpha Tauri driver Daniil Kvyat.
