It crosses my mind that auctions are the best place to go if you want to see some super-exclusive and stunning cars. The cars going under the hammer at the Silverstone auction further validate my thought.

Bugatti Chiron Sport

Where to begin then? Well, let's start with the world's fastest car. This heavily specced Chiron will surely sell for a lot of money.

Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series

When did you last see the SLS? Well it might have been more than a couple of years. So now, this is your chance to stare at this angry German.

Lamborghini Diablo VT

Ahh... the Lamborghini Diablo. This is no standard Diablo. This one was built in 2001 - the last year of the production of this bedroom wall poster car.

Italdesign Zerouno

Time for a rare Italian steroid. The Italdesign Zerouno is surely one of the rarest cars on the planet. Only 5 were built. Unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show 2017, this monster features the sublime modular aluminium chassis and naturally aspirated 5.2-litre V10 as the Audi R8. "NOICE"

McLaren Mercedes SLR 722S

While the SLR has aged, it still is the Cristiano Ronaldo of Mercedes. Old but Gold. 0-62mph in 3.7secs and a top speed of 208mph means that even the best of supercars will have to look over their shoulders.

Mercedes 300SL Gullwing

More Mercedes bliss. If the SLS and the SLR were good, then this is the best. Those gullwing doors are the greatest highlight of this car. This is a 1955 example tinkered by Brabus who have blessed the SL with those beautiful wheels.

Aston Martin V12 Zagato

While many are appreciating the beauty of the Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato, way before it was this, the V12 Zagato. This car was made to celebrate 50th anniversary of this glorious partnership.

Gemballa Mirage GT

Bonkers looks - Check. Rarity index - High. This is Gemballa's take on the Porsche Carrera GT. Gemballa has injected its madness by blessing it with a new body kit, roof scoop and a bespoke interior and extra 49bhp. That is nerve tingling.

Mercedes-Maybach G650 Landaulet

Time for a heavyweight dose of Merc madness. This is the V12-engined, convertible G650 designed by Maybach destined to be the ultimate G-Wagen luxury. Only 99 are built and one of them is here in front of your eyes.

Gumpert Apollo Sport

Awww Gumpert, long time no see. This beautiful car features an Audi-sourced 4.2-litre V8 that is able to produce 690bhp. Brilliant.

Lamborghini Reventon

Uff... the rarest of rare Lamborghini Reventon. Inspired by the F-22 Raptor, only 20 Reventons were built between 2007 and 2009. This one has clocked up 1,864 miles and is the sixth Reventon to roll out of Sant'Agata.

Lamborghini Murcielago 40th Anniversary

When you talk about supercars, the Murcielago has to come in your conversation. This one is the special 40th anniversary edition. Only 50 were produced in 2004 and this is the second.

Ferrari F12tdf

When Lamborghinis start to steal the show, Ferrari comes up with its trump card - the F12tdf. While most of us have seen it in yellow color but my God it looks good in blue. This is the special order Blu Elettrico paint. "BELLA"

Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Shooting Brake

Since its launch, the Shooting Brake has exhausted many superlatives. And so, even I am running out of words. This is the best Aston and Zagato can give us.

Porsche 911 Turbo S

While it might be in very esteemed company, the 911 still stands out. Only 345 of these Turbo S were built and this one has clocked almost 20,000 miles in its 22-year life.

Which of these is your favourite? Let me know in the comments
