Just as I thought BMW was regaining it's mojo, with the outstanding looking M3 Touring, they release this.
Now, in these big car companies, often they give the junior design team a challenge. Seen as a way to work out who is actually skilled, they are tasked to create a concept vehicle, with mixed results.
For example, the A110 Sports X...
...or the TT Safari.
But unfortunately, BMW's design team didn't decided to create an lifted M2 or Z4. Instead, they cut the back off an X7.
They sure do have a weird sense of fun! It was built in 10 months by 12 trainees, and it looks questionable. With a wooden rear deck, and a sweeping waistline, it isn't all bad. But I wouldn't go so far as to say it looks good.
The rear lights are brand new, and production seems unlikely. But, what do you think? Comment below!
