In 1967, after it's successful "Think Small" ad campaign, Volkswagon released a book of cartoons and essays celebrating the big impact Volkswagon was having on the pop culture of the 60s.
The book, given to carbuyers "compliments of your Volkswagon dealer," and contained essays from authors like Jean Shepherd (A Christmas Story), as well as cartoons from a who's who of cartoonists of the time from Charles Addams (The Addams Family) to William Steig (Shrek).
The book is not as easy come by today, but used copies can be found on Amazon and eBay, if you're in the market for some vintage VW humor.
