This 1973 Ford Bronco restomod is packing a 5.0L Mustang V8 under the bonnet

It has just 130 miles on the clock...

People have been restomodding and upgrading classic Ford Broncos for decades now, but this one has caught our attention, not just because of its colour, but also because of what's hiding under the bonnet.

This 1973 Ford Bronco is powered by a stonking great 5.0-litre V8 engine from a Ford Mustang giving it huge power advantages over the standard Bronco. Power figures haven't been released, but we would estimate it has around 460hp.

As you can see from the photos, this gorgeous thing has been finished in a rather fetching British Racing Green along with bronze accents seen on the wheels and grille. Exterior accessories include fender flares, custom bumpers, tinted glass, a Warn winch, LED lighting, and power-retractable running boards for function.

Inside, this Bronco has a lovely tan leather interior finished with all the mod cons you could ever want – including a six-speed automatic transmission to make life just that little bit easier.

Aside from the "Coyote" V8 Mustang engine, other mechanical upgrades include a new exhaust system, a 3.5-inch suspension lift, new shocks, and new sway bars.

This vehicle recently sold on Bring A Trailer for a staggering $210,000 with just 130 miles on the clock. Let's hope the new owner drives it a little more... unless they're worried about its value.

Would you drop over $200k on this Bronco?

  • I wonder how much money went into it.

    • Probably more than what it sold for is my guess

  • If I had plenty of money, yeah. I would. It's a work of art.

  • That looks like it cost well over 200k to build, the reason it only has 130 miles on it is probably because it was just recently built. Very well done especially the interior.
