This 2007 Saleen S7 LM could be yours if your wallet is big enough
The bidding is already at well over $600k for this beauty.
It's safe to say the Saleen S7 is one of the most unique and special American cars ever made, being a low-volume supercar that served up some crazy looks and performance, and right now you could make one particularly special one your own... if your pockets are deep enough.
Currently listed on Bring A Trailer, this particular model was originally made in 2007 but was later recommissioned in 2018 as one of a limited number of LM models to celebrate the company's motorsports success.
Showing just 158 miles on the odometer, it features a twin-turbocharged version of the Ford Windsor-based all-aluminium 7.0-litre V8 mounted in the middle, which drives the rear wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox. Power for the LM models was raised to an impressive 1000bhp and 850 lb-ft – enough to help it achieve a claimed top speed of 240mph.
Visually, it looks fairly similar on the outside to the regular S7, with it sporting a roof-mounted intake, adjustable rear spoiler, chunky rear diffuser, centre-locking forged wheels, and power-operated butterfly doors.
Inside, leather and Alcantara-trimmed Sparco-designed seats with yellow highlights and Sparco harnesses feature, with the headliner and firewall also covered in Alcantara.
Currently, the bidding over on Bring A Trailer is above US$660,000 with just under four hours left before it sells. Let us know though...
