This 2009 Maybach Landaulet 62S costs a hefty sum
Not even selling all your organs could cover the cost of this beast!
Known mostly for their luxurious coachbuilt Mercedes S-Classes and G-Wagons, Maybach was a pretty big deal in the early to mid 2000's. Celebrities, politicians, and other important people always chose a Maybach as a mode of high-end transportation.
Upon stumbling across this Maybach 62S Landaulet, one immediate thing stood out to me like someone trying to shove an advertisement to your face, and it was the price, a staggering and obscure $2,600,000 (£1,891,435). Of course, I had gone in full detective mode to find out why the seller who goes by the name of "Doctor Bugatti" is selling this 62S Landaulet.
Under the long hood of the Maybach is a twin turbo V12 producing 620 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque, launching it to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds. The seller notes that everything is original, but is unknown when the engine was last serviced.
The odometer states that it has only been driven a short 257 miles (413 kilometers) over the span of 12 years. It was originally sold in the state of Texas, but has remained in a private collection for quite a few years.
The main reason why the price is in the millions is because of the rarity, only three USA spec Maybach 62S Landaulets were made out of a total of eight, and of course the mileage and condition. It even includes the original keys, books, and the tool kit.
