This BMW has colour changing ability.
It also has artificial cabin noise done in collaboration with award-winning composer Hans Zimmer.
CES Is a place for giant electronic companies to show their latest and greatest technology, Including Mercedes and BMW. Here is one of BMW's entry, the all electric iX "Flow".

Unlike Mercedes's EQXX, This car isn't all about the battery performance and the design of the front face that creates ground breaking drag coefficient... The main trick of this car is interestingly the ability for it to be able to change colours. Yes it really can change it's exterior body panel colours.
It manages to do this by using a technology called "E-Ink" and BMW named it the "iX Flow", E-Ink is known today to be used in many E readers. The surface of the car is said to contain millions of microcapsules, and in these micro capsules it contains a negatively charged white pigments and positively charged black pigments. When it's needed, these pigments are "stimulated" using electric shocks to change the appearance of the body panels.

Ontop of the high technology design done by the engineering team, manufacturing of these panels uses laser cutting technology, ensuring high precision that results in reliability of the shade of the colours. If you're like me, these are just fancy words for saying that the car turns black and white like a hotwheels.
They also mentioned how the colors changing feature of this car can help with efficiency, where different colors responds differently to heat. for Example, on a hot summer day, black would absorb more heat compared to white, and vice versa.

Something they also showcased in CES 2022, is their new concept of the future infotainment system. Called the "my mode" And they have collaborated with 2 artists for this project, Hans Zimmer and Chinese artist Cao Fei.
Hans Zimmer's contribution here is to provide artificial sounds inside BMW's electric cars, and this technology is called the "IconicSounds" These sounds are supposed to reflect the characteristic of the vehicles, and to help the "connection" between the driver and the car, playing a sound depending on the feedback from the accelerator pedal. The sounds itself is reportedly to have been derived from the sounds of a violin and other instruments. The "IconicSounds" Feature is going to be launched in the first half of 2022 on the i4, and on second half of 2022 on the iX. The feature would be available on eligible models through a remote software update.
As for Cao Fei, his contribution is to help bring "artwork" into the cabin of the car, as BMW has also unveiled it's "curved display"
BMW's Curved display.
I don't know how to explain it to you, or rather what to explain. It's basically artwork displayed inside the car. It is said that the purpose of this digital artwork is to enhance the driving experience, and BMW said that the artwork itself signifies the connection between "humankind and nature"
As for the curved display itself, this feature will expected to be added to BMW's Electric cars starting from 2022 onwards, and the iX M60 being the first model to have the mentioned technology.
On a more interesting note, they also announced a concept of a "Theatre Screen", A concept of a high resolution screen that has a resolution up to 8K.
They have also partnered with Amazon Fire TV to bring entertainment inside the cabin, imagine watching The Grand Tour on this screen. All this is just a concept though, what isn't a concept is the BMW iX M60, which will be available soon this year. It is reported that the car would be the most powerful and fastest in BMW's electric car range.
The car is reported to have 619 Horsepower, 1,015Nm of torque (but 1,100 can be used in launch mode). And will do 0-100km/h in a claimed 3.8 seconds.

That’s just perfect for bank robbers. If they want to escape in a car, they can let the rozzers see which car they drive and when the police can’t see them anymore, just change the colour
New job possibilty discovered thank you.
they shouldve called it "E-l-iX-ir'
