By Phil Bradley

American company, ECD Automotive Design have just completed their second custom built Classic Range Rover. Named Project Red Range Rover, the car has been fitted with a 6.2L, Chevrolet LS3 V8 engine from a Covette Stingray!

The Range Rover Classic has been finished in Carmen Red Pearl paint, to match it's red piping and stitching on the interior. The interior itself has had original OEM wood put in, alongside a more modern infotainment tablet in the centre of the dashboard. It's not the only modern feature added to the car either. This Range Rover Classic also has built in WiFi and a wireless charging pad.

The outside has been brought slightly more up to date too, and ECD have added LED headlights within the front grille, and the Classic vehicle is now sitting on 20" Kahn Mondial wheels.

    • Clarkson fuckboy alert. You clearly have no idea what you’re talking about. The LS3 is a popular engine for swaps. They’re reliable and easy to work on.

  • Rule 35. If it exists someone already LS swaped it.

  • The wheels are awful, and ivyjust realised how far forward the rear axle is, the front axle was designed to sit far enough forward to make it easier to deal with obstacles, why didn’t they use the same thought on the rear
