This crazy 600hp Austin Mini is what dreams are made of
Have you ever thought the standard Austin Mini was underpowered? Well, I think it's pretty safe to say that this one isn't.
This car has one purpose, and one purpose only, and that is to look, sound and drive in the craziest way possible. It is not often you see a 4.8L small block LS engine stuffed into the front of what could easily be mistaken for Richard Hammond's jeans pocket.
Just look at it, the engine is the same height of the car – not to mention the very wide rear tyres which look like they've come straight from a Dodge Demon. As well as being able to drive on the road, its main purpose is to zoom down the dragstrip. Don't forget this has 600hp from a supercharged V8 so you can just imagine the burnouts this is capable of doing.
One could technically drive this on the road as it does have a number plates (and a very suitable one at that) but I'm not sure you could daily drive it. It is far more at home on the drag strip, or even better, a private road. You see, the standard Austin Mini weighs just over half a tonne so give it 600hp and you will be spinning around waiting for traction for ages, which surely makes this the most fun you can have on four wheels.
