This Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta is for sale on auction for an estimated $8 million
*Ding-Ding-Ding* unicorn alert, one of just 210 ever made LaFerrari Apertas is coming up for sale, it can be yours for an estimated between $6.5 to $8.5 Million a staggeringly high price tag even for a LaFerrari.
You can see the advert on RM Sotheby's site.
It's finished in 'Nero Daytona' with red accents, the car was originally delivered to Ferrari of Beverley Hills with every extra available (seriously does anyone drop well over a million bucks on a car but chooses to save on the extras?!) such as the full carbon-fibre package which brings in the exposed carbonfibre hard-top.
As most hypercars that go on these auctions this one was barely driven in, the odometer is showing just 1,500 miles meaning it likely lead a life of a garage queen so far.
The price is steep, but there are quite a few people with means and will to pay that, the final 210th Aperta went for a staggering $9.98 million at an auction to help raise funds for the Save the Children charity. However if you are a more conservative or 'poor' multimillionaire but still want a LaFerrari you can check out quite a few regular roofed version for sale around the world going for averege between $3-4 Million.
It's the most hypercar we got to see from Ferrari acting as a successor to the F40 and Enzo as the ultimate Ferrari. It uses a 6.3litre V12 and HY-KERS system for combined hybrid power output of 950bhp.
The Aperta's high price stems from it's exclusivity, with only 210 ever being build and the fact it's essentially a slightly improved LaFerrari with a chopped of roof. Oh and human... I don't know what to be honest. I want to justify and un-justify the price tag at the same time, truth is it will cost as much as the highest bidder is willing to pay. But is it right? Well you tell me.
