If you've been around the block a few times you probably heard that big power and front wheel drive don't mix too well. It seems that Mark, owner of this Mk2 Focus ST didn't get that memo, building his car up to a whopping 637bhp with big turbo and methanol. Alternatively, he can drop the methanol and go nitrous with 575hp from the engine and extra 75hp from the shot of nitrous. Meaning this FWD hatch pushes some 650hp through the front wheels, that's more powerful than most supercars!

Mark showcased and spoke about the car in a awesome 'Living Life Fast' video on Youtube

The car has been build by Mark himself over the period of four years, and cost him approximate £30,000 (including the car), it sports massive turbo, methanol and nitrous injection, half roll-cage, new LSD, and many more bits outlined in the video.

Perhaps the biggest shock comes with the fact that Mark actually daily drives this car commuting to work with it 6 days a week. He certainly is a brave man as he admitted the car pretty much tries to kill you in the corners if it gets on boost. As it's using stock ST gearbox the car struggles for grip below 3rd gear, which is to be expected from 800nm of torque going through FWD layout. This thus causing the traction control kick in quite a lot resulting in a fire show out the back of the exhaust.

Is this too much? Let us know down below!

On one hand, I feel like it's a bit of waste, as even though it's front wheel drive the stock Focus is a phenomenally well-handling car, to see it in a state where the owner fears cornering in it is a bit of a shame. On the other hand, so what? Yes, the power is pretty much useless unless you are on a straight dry road, but who cares? The owner is happy, and I'm happy knowing there is such crazy creation out there, it makes the world a more exciting place. Most of all I have to respect the dedication and skill a project like this takes, for that alone I tip my hat for to Mark, also even if it's crazy pointless

Whatcha think?
