This German tuner has turned a London taxi into a Rolls Royce

Maybe that will make you like the new EV London cab!

The German tuning company, Lorinser has decided to take the new Geely TX fully-electric London taxi and turn it into a Rolls Royce.

As you can see right away, Lorinser has taken the car and completely transformed it into something you'd expect to see bearing a Spirit of Ecstacy. What they have done is painted the exterior in a two-tone design much like that of a Rolls and have given the car Ghost-style wheels.

On top of that, they have fitted a rather impressive hood ornament to finish it off. Inside, Lorinser has completely revamped the interior and it looks as comfy and as luxurious as anything. The taxi is now full of plush leathers, black and orange, as well as a smattering of carbon fibre.

They have also abandoned the Volvo infotainment system inside and have replaced it with a new one.

It is very unlikely you will ever get a ride in one of these taxis, especially not in London but it's interesting to see what could be done something as 'boring' and as normal as a taxi.

  • If ‘unique’ was the intention the they’ve succeeded but who really wants something like this? Personally I just don’t like it.

No mention of cost.......... whatever the price it’s too much. Alternatively just go buy a normal luxury car like an S-class with the amount spent.
