This Hyundai Elantra has a supercar-inspired bodykit
The show car is a true 'one-off' build
Generally speaking, family sedans aren't the most popular 'base' vehicles for show car builds. However, that didn't stop the owner of this Hyundai Elantra from building his dream vehicle, complete with a supercar-inspired bodykit.
While the N-Line Elantra is still a way off yet, we have to admit this kitted-out standard Elantra certainly *looks* the part, even if the performance isn't there yet.
Affectionately known as 'Project VX' after the owner, this Elantra MD is a "completely unique build which made [the] car of my dreams come true. Every element has been tastefully picked and imported to bring this vehicle to life."
The bright yellow JGTC bodykit with its diffuser, Lamborghini-inspired intake ducts, spoiler and splitters certainly looks supercar-esque, while an Akraprovic CF exhaust provides the soundtrack to this one-off build.
Inside, the interior has been treated to a dual-colour retrim, Alcantara details, and plenty of carbon-fibre. There is also an upgraded Avan Acoustics sound system, and a Rolls Royce-esque roof with star inlays.
There is no news of any performance modifications, meaning this is probably just a 'show' car in order to keep insurance costs low. However, this is certainly a labour of love, and Xander should be proud of his work!
