This is NOT your average motorcycle!
It’s as close to a Mazda 787B with two wheels as it’s possible to get.


Here’s Crighton Motorcycles’ CR700W rotary wankel-powered racer.
The tiny motor weighs just 25kg on its own and produces 220hp and over 100 ft/lb of torque from just three moving parts.

With a 690cc displacement, it’s making 320hp a litre (MotoGP bikes make 300) and it weighs about the same, 130kg. To put into perspective, premier-class superbikes weigh 200kg in road trim.

The chassis is Spondon and suspension components can be individually specced. They’re £85,000 a pop and it has to be one of the meanest bits of kit on the planet.
