Say hello to the third member of McLaren's Ultimate Series - the Senna. The hypercar carries the name of legendary F1 driver, Ayrton Senna, who won all three of his F1 driver titles with the team in 1988, 1990 and 1991. McLaren claims the Senna is the ultimate streetable track car - even more focused that the P1. Its said to have sacrificed daily drivability for a more intensive driver experience. The Senna is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 and will produce 588kw/800nm, thats mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. 0-96kph takes just 2.5 seconds and it has a top speed of over 320kph. Its said to weigh in at around 1198kgs (that’s around 220kg lighter than the 720S), and will comfortably out-perform the McLaren P1. Senna which will go on sale next year, will launch in addition to their three-seat hypercar, codenamed BP23, which is set to arrive in the coming years. Only 500 are being made, costing around US$1 million, and all are already sold out. #TunedAutomotive #SomeShitAboutCars
