This is the Ferrari 250 GTO of sim rigs
We don't know the price, but if you have to ask...
Aston Martin brought out their own sim rig a couple of weeks ago that took inspiration from the Valkyrie hypercar. But if that's a bit too modern and flashy, how about getting yourself one of these – the eClassic sim rig from TCCT.
If you buy order one now, it'll be in your chandeliered study some time in 2021
Using the racecars of the 1950s as inspiration, these rigs are essential gaming portals back to a seat at Le Mans in the likes of a Ferrari 250, Jaguar D-Type or Porsche 550.
Think beautifully stitched leather, a proper wooden steering, three pedals and what looks like an incredibly satisfying gear shift.
Fanatec users might recognise this shift setup
There are two models available – the Pininfarina (styled by the guys and girls at the famous design house) and the Zagato with its exposed chassis/cage, with both rigs having a wraparound three-screen layout.
There's a club too
When you buy one of these setups, you can also join the eClassic Racing Club, where you can join fellow millionaires of an evening to exchange virtual paint and make sure your top of timesheets in a virtual community.
Some more integrated Fanatec components within
There has been nothing said about the prices of the Zagato or Pininfarina sims yet, but expect it to be similar money to a secondhand sportscar plus a few tanks of fuel...
