Well then, here it is. This is the brand new Ferrari Roma and it is here to sit alongside the rest of the Ferrari line up. As you can see, it is a front-engined GT car which will sit just above the Portofino but below the F8 Tributo in the line-up.

On first glance you may think it is a just a two seater much like the F12 or 812 Superfast, but you will be very much mistaken. The Roma is described as a "mid-front-engined 2+ coupe" which implies you can add two extra seats in the rear. Does this make the GTC4 Lusso obsolete I wonder?

Speaking of looks, this front-engined super GT has a very sleek design and a rear end which almost resemble that of a Ferrari 599. The front is very sloped and features an all new grille which I hope carries on to future Ferrari models.

The Roma is powered by a turbocharged 3.9L V8 much like the one in the GTC4 Lusso. This produces 612 hp and redlines at 7,500rpm. Queue the epic soundtrack. All this power is sent to the rear wheels where it will be put down in a very orderly fashion I am sure. The Roma also uses the 8-speed automatic gearbox from the SF90 Stradale which will make for silky smooth shifts.

We don't know much else other than that, but I am sure we will hear more information over time. Judging by the interior shot, Ferrari have changed a few things there such as the centre screen which almost looks as if it is copying McLaren by being landscape.

Let me know what you think of the Ferrari Roma in the comments!
